Rascal Flatts Readies For 3-Month Unstoppable Summer Tour
Rascal Flatts music fans in Miami and Dallas, prepare for the biggest show you’ll ever see this year. The country superstars are preparing for their “Unstoppable” summer tour this year and have added a few more tour dates into their schedule. So if you are dying to hear more of their hits, better get ready and reserve those tickets now.
The band has added new shows in their lengthy tour. As of the most recent update, they have added stops in Miami, OK (June 12), Holmdel, NJ (June 25), Scranton, PA (July12) and Jacksonville, FL (June 23).
The tour is scheduled to take off on June 5 at the St. Louis area. Rascal Flatts will be on the road until September to promote their sixth studio album “Unstoppable.”
“Unstoppable” was released in April and debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. Since then, it has sold more than half a million copies. Its first single “Here Comes Goodbye” was released three months before the album. It landed at the 29th spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and then moved to the Top 10.
In April, it reached the top spot, making it Rascal Flatts’ tenth No. 1 single.
The tour is part of a massive marketing campaign of one of the country’s leading retailers, JC Penney. Dubbed as the “Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour,” it will also promote American Living, JC Penney’s all American lifestyle brand developed by Polo Ralph Lauren’s Global Brand Concepts.
During the shows, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney will primarily wear customized apparel from the American Living line while performing in concert. There will also be American Living signage all over the areas.
Rascal Flatts will also be featured in a commercial, airing from May 18 to June 7 singing their new song “American Living” while wearing the apparel.
As sponsor of the tour, JC Penney has made a very big move with collaborating with Rascal Flatts, at least in my opinion, because the band is so huge a lot of people will definitely come and see the show. The band’s following will definitely bite the retailer’s marketing strategy which could translate to increase in sales.
Not only would it benefit sales, the brand would also gain credibility. With Rascal Flatts endorsing the brand in their shows, it will definitely gain a lot of credibility from consumers.
Among the stops in the June leg of the tour are: Maryland Heights, Noblesville, Miami, Dallas, The Woodlands, Somerset, Holmdel, Hartford, and Bristow.
